Hi, I’m Will—the artist behind Will & Whiskers, and close friend of Kelly Vets. My journey with art has been lifelong and has taken me through graphic design, animation, 3D modelling and texturing, and illustration, winning several awards along the way. While I’ve worked extensively in digital media, my passion has led me back to traditional art: I always love exploring different materials, techniques, and styles! Alongside that, however, has always been an even stronger love for animals.

This business was born from a deeply personal place. When I lost my beloved dog, Grail, I felt an immense void that I carried with me for a long time. Creating his portrait became a way of keeping him with me, offering healing, memory, and comfort. Now, I want to share that experience with others—whether it’s commemorating a pet who has passed or celebrating the unique personality of the one still curled up beside you.

At Will & Whiskers, my goal is to create art that celebrates, heals, and immortalises. Every portrait is a carefully crafted tribute, designed to capture the essence of your pet—not just their likeness, but their spirit and personality. I love looking for details, capturing realism, and emphasising unique traits.

Each piece is custom-made, based on your treasured photos and personal stories. I like combining highly detailed features with abstract and colourful elements. I believe in pushing creative boundaries, so whether you want a classic realistic pet portrait or something slightly whimsical, I’d love to explore new ideas with you. Creating, experimenting, and bringing life to blank canvases is a joy I want to share with other animal lovers.

Whether they have fur, feathers, scales, or hooves, I’m happy to create portraits of any beloved animal. From dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, rabbits, horses, or even exotic animals—each one deserves to be celebrated.

No Perfect Photo? No Problem.

I understand that sometimes finding the perfect photo of a beloved pet—especially one who has passed—is difficult. If you don’t have a single great image, I can work from a selection of photos, adjusting lighting, details, and expressions to create the perfect tribute. My goal is to bring their unique personality to life, even if the best references are spread across multiple images. In fact, multiple detailed images of their features, their eyes and nose and patterns from multiple angles really can help capture the most about them.

How It Works

Send Your Photos – Provide clear, high-resolution images of your pet, or a selection of photos to work from.

Discuss Your Vision – Share any special details, stories, or preferences.

Choose Your Size & Style – Options available for different budgets, we can work together to find something that works for you.

Creation Process – 50% deposit before I begin, I will update you as the portrait progresses.

Finalise payment after you’ve seen a final photo, and in the mail it goes! Shipping included for mainland United Kingdom, but I will try send wherever possible!
